*Duck and Wolf* is the lively sequel to Sergei Prokofiev’s *Peter and the Wolf*. It begins at the zoo, where the wolf has been locked up. A violent coughing fit propels the duck—whom the wolf had previously swallowed whole—back out into the open. Realizing she cannot fly because one of her wings is injured, she makes the wolf an offer: together, they will break out of the zoo and return to the forest. Thus begins an adventurous journey through the unfamiliar world of the big city. From the rooftop terrace of a high-rise, they spot their forest in the distance—but how are they to cross the highway? Fortunately, Duck and Wolf have learned that weaknesses can sometimes turn into strengths.
